Oyster Farming Overview

Farming Technology
We mainly use two farming technologies: floating cages and bottom farming. These two technologies have their own advantages, and combined use can improve farming efficiency and product quality.
1. Floating cage technology
Floating cages are an efficient farming method suitable for areas with good water quality and obvious tidal changes.
Structure and design
Floating cages are usually made of high-strength plastic or metal materials, which can withstand wind and waves and maintain stable buoyancy. There are appropriate meshes inside the cage to allow the free flow of water and nutrients to promote the growth of oysters.
Cultivation environment
Floating cages are generally set up in sea areas with smooth tides and clear water quality, which can provide a good growth environment for oysters. The flow of water helps carry abundant plankton, which is an important food source for oyster growth.

Increase growth rate: Good water flow and sunlight can promote the growth of oysters, improve meat quality and taste.

2. Bottom aquaculture technology
Bottom aquaculture is a traditional and effective aquaculture method suitable for areas with shallow water depth and good bottom quality.
Aquaculture method
On the suitable bottom quality, oyster seedlings are placed directly in the pre-prepared bottom area, usually using equipment such as mesh or fences to prevent oysters from escaping and being preyed on.
Bottom ecology
Bottom aquaculture can utilize the natural ecosystem of the seabed, and oysters interact with the surrounding environment to promote growth. Microorganisms and algae in the bottom provide rich nutrition for oysters.
